Kawasan Falls ( Badian South Cebu )

Its another boring Tuesday on June 3, 2014 when me and my wife decided to go out of town. We were thinking if what particular place should we go and if we choose from going to the beach or waterfalls. We finally decided to go to the Kawasan Falls because its better to deep in cold water rather than burn at the heat of the sun on the beach. We pack up our things and arrived at south-bus terminal cebu at 11:30 and just a few minutes the bus went off. We arrived in Kawasan at 3:35pm and we took our lunch at a small eatery beside at the church and right after we start our trek straight to the 3rd level of the falls.

We make our pace fast so that we could have time to enjoy swimming and while walking fast I took some photos on our way up.

Finally we arrived at the 3rd level at 4:30pm. I took some pictures and chat with  Sr. Willy the owner of the cottages located at 3rd level.

It was almost 6pm at our time and we decided to go down and search for a place where it is safe to camp and we ended at the 1st level of kawasan and we ask to the locals there if we are allowed to pitch our tent and stayed over night. We talk to the caretaker of the lot Mr.Roel and finally we have his permission to camp to his place. This is our 2nd time to camp over night here in Kawasan the 1st was with our friends and we camp at 3rd level.

We woke up 6am wednesday and we buy some foods for breakfast then we start our trek going up to the 3rd level and I took some random photos on our way up.

2nd level at 7:30am
We love to swim here at 3rd level because the water in here is fresh, cold and clear and the lagoon is so wide where you can swim freely. The water at the middle is 7ft. deep.

The water at the lagoon in 3rd level is completely drained off at 11am because the dam is opened for hydro electricity use.
