Aguinid Falls ( Samboan Cebu )

From Dao Falls we visited Aguinid Falls on the same day. We stop at the gym and prepare our lunch after cooking we went Aguinid Falls. At first I never expect this place will be exciting base on what I see on the pictures when we google search  this place but I was totally wrong.

We stop first at the level zero and eat our lunch there. Then after eating we enjoy ourselves bathing and walk our way up to  level 1.

level 1 was about 3 feet deep here we enjoy ourselves swimming and jumping at the falls.

Going to the level 3 of the waterfalls was a bit scary because you need to climb at the waterfalls with the waters flowing down. Going up was a bit easy but going down was a heart pumping experience. As we move our way up I was surprise of the view and the beauty of nature. The whole experience give us adrenaline  rush while climbing and trekking our way up to the upper part of Aguinid Falls till we reach the level 5 of the waterfalls.

We decided to end our Aguinid Falls adventure since it is already 4pm and we need to find a good place where we can stay for overnight. Ms. Jessica a local guide in Aguinid Falls came to us to ask if we own the tshirt that was left at the level 0. It was ours and we ask her if she knew a good place where we can stay for free because we told here that it was been our 5th day now when we started our south cebu road trip. She introduce us to there Brgy. Captain Ms. Carol and we also introduce ourselves and told her that we are in a road trip and looking for a good place to stay safe overnight and without any hesitation she offered us to stay overnight at her place for free. The place was beach front and we eventually pitched our tents and prepare some stuff for our dinner.

What to Expect:

The trail is easy except going up in level 3 since you have to climb in rocks where the water is flowing.

The locals here are very friendly and accommodating.

This place is a lot better than Kawasan Falls in Badian or a good alternative in Kawasan Falls.

The Brgy. Captain here is very friendly if you need something you can always ask help.

How To Get Here:

• From Southbus Terminal Cebu ride a Ceres Bus going to Bato via Barili just tell the bus driver to drop you at Brgy. Aguinid Samboan the Fare is 175 pesos per person.
• From Brgy. Aguinid Samboan you can walk your way to Aguinid Falls just a few walk from the highway.
• Entrance Fee is only 10 pesos per person.
